Laois Traveller Action Group (LTAG) is a Traveller led community
development project working to address issues facing Travellers in the
region including health, accommodation, youth, education, cultural and
ethnic identity, and human rights.
To develop, implement and coordinate the project work plan to improve
the health and wellbeing of the Traveller Community in Co. Laois. This
post is three days per week, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday **Apply on

* To be responsible for the development, administration, and
implementation of a programme of work for the Primary Health Care
programme to improve the health and wellbeing of the Traveller
Community in Co Laois
* To be responsible for the day-to-day direction and implementation
of annual work plan for the peer Traveller Health Workers
* Co-ordination, mentoring and supervision of the Traveller Health
Workers and supporting them to undertake their role effectively
* Work with the Traveller Health Workers to develop and implement
appropriate health promotion/education responses to Traveller health
issues in Co. Laois.
